Chuck Hoffheiser – CITGO PetroleumTitle: Possible Scenarios for Biofuels in the U.S. The presentation will be a high-level discussion of the current state and possible future scenarios for biofuels in the U.S.  The concentration will be on ethanol, but some discussion of biodiesel and biobutanol will be included as well.  Details will include the U.S. supply/demand balance of ethanol and the forces working for and against biofuels penetration in the market.  In addition, there will be pro forma economics for a notional 100 MMGPY dry mill ethanol plant.  Chuck Hoffheiser has 16 years in strategic planning in the downstream oil industry, including price and margin forecasting, long range planning, capital investment and corporate structure (e.g., merger, acquisition, joint venture, alliance) analysis.  Chuck spent a number of years in various areas of the specialty polymers / specialty chemicals segments including structural plastics for automotive use, industrial water treatment and specialty additives; sales / tech service, marketing strategy; business planning.  His experience includes tenure with CITGO, Texaco, and the Texaco / Shell downstream JV.  He has a B.S. in Chemistry from Case Western Reserve University and an MBA from the University of Tulsa.
